It's easy (if you want I can do it for you) to create a quick java application for it and anyone can use it on his android phone for free, you don't need to pay for putting your application online and you don't need to be 'accepted' before going live. If it turns out to be a success, it's not hard to port the application to the iphone/ipad/... I personally think it's a sweet idea to create an application for fans to follow their favourite band.
